Wherever you are in the process of applying to medical school, we can help you. It just starts with a free call.
Some students have the benefit of easy access to an excellent pre-med advisor, but most students do not. Even if you attend a great college with a dedicated pre-med advising counsellor, what is that counsellor’s actual knowledge of obtaining a medical school admission offer? Most of them are well-meaning and hard-working, but few if any have the first-hand knowledge of what actually goes on inside a medical school admissions committee.
Every student will benefit from a conversation with Pre-Med Consulting. The earlier you are in the process of pursuing your dream of entering medical school, the more we can do for you.

Some students just need the reassurance that they are on the right track and haven’t left out any important activities. Other students have little or no quality guidance available and need real assistance. Our medical school admissions consulting services are performed on an individual basis. No two applicants require the same help in the application process.
A personal medical school admissions coach can help you with your application process, including the primary application, personal statement, , secondary applications, or interview coaching for med school. The type of admissions guidance necessary will depend on the stage of a particular student’s progress. From the high school senior considering different colleges and majors, to the college student formulating a game plan for their pre-med coursework and medical school applications, to the re-applicant needing an unbiased assessment of his or her candidacy, we are available to assist you through the entire med school application and admissions process.
Getting into medical school remains a daunting task. Of course, you need good grades – and good MCAT scores. But what else do you really need?
These are the tough questions that we will tackle together:
- For the student early along in the process, which college should you attend? How do you choose your major and your courses in college?
- When should you take the tougher courses and how should you time them?
- For the current pre-med college student, what do medical schools want in an applicant? How important are your extracurricular activities? How about research? Shadowing? Volunteering?
- What about that daunting Personal Statement on the AMCAS application? What should you write about? And equally as important, what should you NEVER write about? And what do you do if you’re not a great writer or need help with editing?
- What if you’re a great student and you want to attend a very top tier school? What does it take to get into the very best programs or into an MD/PhD program?
- What do you do if you have had some disappointing grades? How do you approach the subject of a disciplinary action on your transcript?
- Should you take a gap year? Enroll in a post-bacc program? Obtain a master’s degree?
- How do medical schools evaluate non-traditional students?
- What do you do if you have previously applied and have not been successful in obtaining a medical school admission?
There are many students, each with very different goals. Similarly, there are many medical schools, each with its own strengths and its own admissions criteria. When we undertake your medical school admissions coaching, we treat you as an individual. We develop a personalized plan to help to give you a competitive edge and get you into medical school. Applying to medical school is a stressful process; a well-versed and experienced consultant with experience on admissions committees can help you to be prepared, feel reassured and be capable of reaching your full potential.
