Dr. Goldman believes every relationship should be mutually compatible. He offers a brief complimentary phone conversation where we can (virtually) meet one another and answer basic questions about the process of consulting; no specifics about the individual student’s background will be discussed. Consultation Services
Consultation services for the pre-medical student can encompass a multitude of subjects, depending on the stage of the student’s progress. From the high school senior considering colleges and majors, to the college student formulating a game plan for course work, to the re-applicant needing an unbiased assessment of his or her candidacy, we are available to assist you through the entire application process.
Consultations typically focus on the issues specific to your progress throughout your education. Most often these include:

Payment Policies
Dr. Goldman charges a set hourly fee of $500. He does not charge different fees for different services, such as editing essays versus giving mock interviews. He also does not offer ‘packages’ which tend to cost more than is necessary. With your attention to preparation before our meetings, and efficient use of our time together, we can minimize your out of pocket expenses.
Short emails are not charged. Emails requiring greater than five minutes of response time are charged at the hourly rate.
Appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice are not charged. Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours noticed are billed at the full hourly rate.
Initial appointments should be made at a time at least 24 hours after all relevant documents have been sent. Document review time is also billed at the same hourly rate. Generally it takes about 15 minutes to review the average introductory paperwork, but this will be adjusted accordingly. The minimum initial consultation is for 60 minutes, inclusive of document review time. Payment for the first consultation must be made prior to scheduling that appointment.
We welcome consultations with parents of candidates. This can be scheduled in anticipation of or in conjunction with a student’s use of our services.
Payment is due and expected at the time that services are rendered. In the event of delayed payments, there will be a 1.5%/month service charge added to the bill for greater than thirty days delay.
